Patti J. Patterson, M.D.
Dr Patterson is a professor of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Dr. Patterson's public health career includes 12 years of experience with the Texas Department of Health, serving numerous posts including Chief of Maternal and Child Health, Executive Deputy Commissioner and Interim Commissioner of Heath. Dr. Patterson holds a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is Board certified in Pediatrics. She also has a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston. Dr. Patterson has participated in 50 medical mission trips to Central America, South America, Eastern Europe, and Africa.
Gary is a member of the church in Dimmitt, TX. He now serves as the Vice President and branch manager of Capital Farm Credit in Hereford. His is one of the primary leaders in the Dimmitt church, and is the father of three children. Gary has participated in two of our mission trips and has been instrumental in helping to get funding for several trips. His wife Cindy and all of their children and their spouses have been on trips. Gary is a graduate of Lubbock Christian University and serves as secretary for Olive Branch Ministries.
Jack Dyer, M.D.
Jack Dyer, M.D. Graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1983. He went on to graduate from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and completed an internship in General Surgery. Dr. Dyer completed the family Practice residency program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. He now serves as associate professor of Family Medicine at Texas Tech. He has been involved in missions for the past several years and participated in two medical mission efforts with the Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock. Believing in the benefits of this program, Dr. Dyer has been instrumental in bringing other doctors in residency on medical mission trips.
Mike is currently working as a safety consultant and trainer since retiring as corporate Director of Safety from Price Gregory International in 2012. In addition to working as an elementary counselor, State Representative and Special Assistant to the TX Commissioner of Health since receiving his BSEd and MEd from Abilene Christian University in 1969 he has preached for congregations in Snyder, Dunn, Fluvanna, and Austin TX. He has preached for the congregation that meets in Ezzell, TX since 1990. He and his wife Betty have two children. Mike has been on numerous medical mission trips with Partners in Progress, Forrister Ministries, Immeasurably More and Olive Branch Ministries to South America, Africa and Central America since 1988.
