Upcoming Mission Trip
Texas Tech Medical Mission, Piura, Peru
In 2017, the community of Pedregal Grande in Piura, Peru, was devastated by flooding. After our first visit, we knew we wanted to do more than simply come once. We wanted to build a relationship.
Since then, our involvement with Pedregal Grande has continued to grow. We have developed meaningful relationships with community members, local healthcare workers, and health posts, working together to better understand and respond to the community's needs.
Today, our team divides the clinic between two communities, helping bring healthcare closer to people who would otherwise have to travel long distances to receive care.
Through our partnership with Texas Tech University's Public Health and Mental Health programs, we are also able to work alongside local communities on projects focused on their specific needs. This experience has shown us that sustainable impact begins with relationships, listening, and showing up consistently.
Come to Piura and see what happens when service becomes partnership.
